What Drives Pricing?
SIZE
Most mural pricing is based on square footage of the wall. The larger the mural, the more expensive it will be. Along with this, anything above 13’ will require special lift equipment.
On a tighter budget? Ask about our partial wall murals.
For other types of art installations or digital branding requests, the scope of the work will drive the price. Size, scale and turn around time also factor in.
COMPLEXITY
There is a wide range of design complexity that affects mural pricing. How many colors and how detailed you want the mural to be will determine the price range. If you’re interested in a digitally produced installation large art piece, the material used will factor into the complexity as well.
Low: 1-2 colors
Mid: 3-4 colors
High: 5+ colors
If you have a speciality wall surface such as brick, or concrete, this may require specific prep work. Reach out to learn about your options.
LOCATION
Interior vs. Exterior will require different types of preparation.
We love to travel. Jola Studios is based in Kansas City, Missouri, but is available for local and global projects. Travel fees may be added depending on location.
For projects with uneven ground surfaces, such as stairs or exteriors, we will work with your team to get the right equipment for the job

Yes! We will walk you through the whole process, starting with inspiration, sketches, and then on to digital mock-ups so you know what to expect before the painting process.

Yes. Jola Studios works with clients nationwide and globally. Most planning, design, and communication is handled remotely, with travel arranged as needed for installation. This allows us to collaborate efficiently while delivering high-quality work regardless of location.

Each project is custom-priced based on size, scope, and complexity. Variables like wall conditions, design detail, location, timeline, and materials all affect pricing. We provide a clear, itemized proposal after reviewing project details and goal.
For painted murals for example, You can expect to pay between $20-$50+/sq.ft. on average.

After receiving your inquiry, we schedule a remote consultation to understand your goals, space, timeline, and budget. From there, we develop a custom proposal outlining concept direction, scope of work, pricing, and next steps. Once approved, we move into design, planning, and execution.

Yes! We have art pieces all over the U.S. and are happy to travel.
We also have awesome connections to artists all over the globe which helps with production when needed. Any travel expenses will be included in the budget.
